ABOUT ME

About Dylan
Ever since I was little, I have been curious about the inner workings of things. I wanted to know how things were put together in such a way that they functioned. From asking how the car actually works to taking apart all kinds of things to find out how they work and then putting the parts to use in something else, I have always wanted to find out new things and learn new skills.
This is something which comes back in my personal interests nowadays. When I moved to Enschede I joined the Motorsportgroep (MSG) where I learned a lot about motorcycles, maintenance and practical workshop skills and met a lot of like minded people. Something which has greatly contributed to the latest big project I have been working on: A complete suspension rebuild and conversion of my own, 1982 Kawasaki GPz550.
I like learning new things and getting to grips with the theory, but I like putting the theory to practice even more. This, combined with the ownership of several oldtimer vehicles made me start 8TrackDesign.
Planning out how something should work and come together and to have it actually come together to make a difference is something I enjoy tremendously.
When I am not working on a project in my free time I enjoy riding and working on my motorcycle, sailing, working on the boat and spending time with good friends.
